Water and wastewater treatment specialist, Biochemica UK Ltd has launched a new look uniform for its UK wide workforce as the company strives to cement its professional image and reputation.
Biochemica bosses invested in a range of fresh corporate clothing for its various teams and introduced a new company policy outlining the different circumstances of its use and PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) requirements.
Commercial and Technical Director at Biochemica, Dr Tim Robinson, said: “We have built a strong reputation with our clients and across the water treatment industry as a whole over the years thanks to our professional, technical abilities and quality customer service.
“The main aim of rolling out the new uniform and policy across the company was to ensure that all of our employees consistently reflect our high standards on an individual basis, while collectively improving our brand identity.”
Biochemica works across a multitude of industries, from automotive manufacturing sites, chemical plants and steel works to food and drink producers and paper mills. Many of Biochemica’s clients’ sites are extremely vast and populated with numerous subcontractors and employees at any given time, so the new uniform will also enable field service operatives to be easily differentiated, allowing clients quick and easy access to assistance.
Dr Robinson added: “All of our employees realise the responsibility and value of their work and are ultimately ambassadors of Biochemica – they help to maintain our reputation and represent our core company values every day.
“Whether it’s one of our Technical Sales Consultants attending a new business meeting, one of our head office support staff conducting an internal meeting or one of our Water Hygiene Services Technicians undertaking a cooling tower clean, we will be confident that they are upholding our professional image in the appropriate company attire and adhering to the best health and safety practice.
“We hope this investment will strengthen the feeling of pride and unity amongst our workforce, which will have a positive impact on motivation and productivity.”
